John Driscoll

Hi, I’m John — a researcher focused on human–AI interaction, AI safety, and usable privacy, working on systems that help families, students, and communities interact with AI and data safely and effectively.

I’m an incoming Rales Fellow and Ph.D. student in Societal Computing and Engineering & Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. I hold an M.S. and B.S. in Data Science from UC San Diego’s Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute.

Outside of research, I dance hip-hop.
